About the Event
Join us as we kick off our spring Chautauqua series with Diane Feasley, co-president of the Illinois Prairie Chapter of Wild Ones. Diane is an active volunteer and passionate advocate for the natural world. She volunteers with the Parklands Foundation at Letcher Basin Nature Preserve, helping remove invasive species and assisting with controlled burns, and serves on the board of the Hudson Public Library.
Through her work with Wild Ones, Diane promotes the use of plants native to Central Illinois in both urban and rural landscapes. Her talk will explore the many benefits of native plants and offer practical insights into plant identification, landscape design, and plant selection. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Diane brings a knowledgeable, hands-on, and deeply local perspective to caring for our shared environment.
